Our tree is up and I’ve stopped moving the ornaments around (for now)! It’s slightly less crooked from this angle (the front angle), but from the side you can tell it is leaning into the room. As long as it leans (and doesn’t topple), I’m good.
This year we chose a White Pine. It has long, soft needles and it doesn’t seem to shed as much as our other favorite choice, the Fraser Fir. Unfortunately, I bought our new lights last year with the skinnier Fraser Fir, and I think I need at least one more strand to brighten this fluffy tree up a bit…maybe next year. For now, it’s providing the required Christmas glow of the season…
Ha. Ours leans too! Except its a little blue spruce that’s about 5′ tall…it’s a live tree so he’s sitting in the yard leaning to the left, waiting to come inside about a week before Christmas. Our kids picked him out so we were kinda at the mercy of what the kids wanted, even if it was the runt of the litter. Merry Christmas. 🙂
lovely, we just have a 4 foot artificial tree on a table this year. nobody going to be here, so decided to go the skimpy way. Yours looks really nice and full
Aw, thanks Aunt Connie! It is so full that the ornaments didn’t fit well on some of the branches, but it works 🙂 I’m sure your treetop tree is lovely…sometimes it’s nice to have something simple.
Oh! I think it looks lovely. A soft Christmas glow for this year. Unique every year.
It’s a beautiful tree. I love the topper, it reminds me of the one we had when I was little.
It is vintage (though much older than you based on the price on the packaging) and we had a similar, more colorful one growing up too!
You did an awesome job, yay!
It’s such a lovely, fluffy tree. I just want to hug it! Except for that whole breakable ornaments & lights in the way thing.
Hey, Kim. Found a picture of our staff from NCC the other day and thought of you all. Just wanted to say Hey and it looks like you’re leading a very satisfying life. All the best for a Merry Christmas! Your tree looks great by the way!
